Terms of Service: Subject to Change Without Notice is a fantasy world-building book written by Craig W. Stanfill. It is in a third-person perspective. It is a slow-paced book in the beginning with the world introduction, and then exploring the life of Kim in a futuristic AI dystopian world. It begins to show the daily life in this AI dystopian world through Kim's daily routine. Then slowly transitioning to Kim’s excursion with Shan changed her daily routine completely. It shows the dysfunctional leadership of society. Kim was left to choose between herself and others. It is a fight for freedom, but in the end, is it worth it? The character growth is spectacular. The ending has a somber tone, and the author leaves a few paragraphs that make you ponder about the world we live in. It’s short and impactful.

I like how, even though this is a fantasy book, you can relate it to the real world. I commend the author on how he reveals right off the bat what the title means. It’s a unique concept of how the author creates the AI dystopian world. The author gives detailed descriptions of the world with the right amount of suspense to make it believable. The ending is compelling and makes you look back on some parts of the book to see the connection. The book drops us off with a thought-provoking ending.

The book is slow-paced in the beginning, which I'm not a fan of. I do not lean toward sci-fi fantasy books for that reason. The introduction of a world-building book is inherently slow-paced at the start, which is why I see it as a personal preference only.

I will rate this book a 4 out of 5 stars. Overall, I have nothing to complain about it except the slow-paced introductory due to my personal preference. To add, I like old-time world-building rather than a modern futuristic. But other than that, it has an unpredictable ending and plot, which makes it a great book. The author gives a hint of a sequel to the book. Interestingly, the author obtained his Ph.D. in artificial intelligence, and the book shows how he sees the world of AI and the possible future for us.

This is not recommended for kids for the reason that there’s sexual content in the book. If you prefer a futuristic world-building concept, then this book will suit your interests. I did not see any errors therefore this book is well-edited.
