The Seventh Spark by J.B. Lion follows the tale of a group of divine beings who strive to safeguard humanity from the malevolent grasp of demons. This celestial troupe, known as "The Knights of the Everlasting Order," consists of twelve handpicked angels, each tasked with the duty of safeguarding specific planets and the seven precious stones that represent humanity's moral virtues and goodness. These elite angels were chosen based on their exceptional abilities, honed through rigorous training and participation in a tournament of champions. But when tragedy strikes and one of their own falls in battle, the remaining members of this holy order must come together to mourn their loss. However, their time together is short-lived as they soon face an even greater challenge - finding a worthy replacement before the forces of evil hatch their own diabolical plan.

The format of the book was quite different from what I expected, but it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. I appreciated how the book balanced the use of visuals and written descriptions. The use of illustrations was particularly impressive, as it provided a unique way to visualize the characters and their actions. I found the illustrations to be quite helpful in imagining the story, especially in instances where it can be difficult to describe certain things in written form. While the illustrations provided a helpful visual aid, the author still managed to convey important details and emotions through his writing.

One thing that I particularly enjoyed about the book was the incorporation of manga into the mix. This concept was executed very well and added a new layer of depth to the characters and their personalities. The different fonts used throughout the book also added a nice touch to the overall design, and I appreciated the attention to detail in this regard. The combination of these elements made for an engaging and immersive reading experience. I found the format of the book to be unique and successful in its execution.

I rate this book five out of five stars because there is nothing to dislike about it. The concept of the book is fascinating and the characters are intriguing. The book is professionally edited, and I only came across one minor typo.

For those who enjoy stories that revolve around angels and demons, I highly recommend this book. Even if you have had trouble visualizing characters in fantasy stories before, this book is worth giving a chance. The incorporation of visual aids in the form of illustrations makes the characters more tangible and helps to immerse the reader in the story. Overall, this book is a fantastic read and a must-read for fans of the fantasy genre.
