The Seventh Spark is a fantasy book written by J. B. Lion. This particular read focused mainly on chapters one and two of the book. It gives insight into how the hard copy of the book would be. This focuses on the Order of Things, the Angels, the knights' training, and their selection process. The book also shed more light on the times of service of the knights as well as their responsibilities. A particular scene was narrated where three creatures, Drogthal, Legion, and Kreetus, plotted evil. The brethren, led by Armin, had a meeting concerning one of their brethren who had recently passed on. They reached a consensus on where they’d send him, but still had to decide which of the scouts would replace him, as they always had to be twelve.

The major thing I liked about this novel is that it was such a graphic and interesting read. The illustrations and pictures helped, as I didn’t have to imagine much. I also loved the details of this book. It was almost like I was listening to someone narrate the book to me while I was watching the scenes unfold in front of me. I could not help but notice some similarities between some characters in the book and biblical characters. For example, the Divine, Armin, sounded similar to "amen," and Stevyn sounded similar to Steven in the Bible, and there was a mention of his hair he dared not cut, also similar to Steven.

The only issue I had with this book was the few grammatical errors I noticed. The errors I noticed were few and easy to miss. However, these errors did not interrupt my reading at all. I also did not understand the need for the comic scenes inserted in Chapter 2. I felt it was not necessary, and it kind of threw me off track while reading.

I would rate this book 4 out of 5 stars. I gave it a rating of 4 stars because, as I said earlier, it was such an interesting read. I deducted a star because of the few grammatical errors I observed and my lack of understanding of the comic scene. Honestly, I believe this book would be such a fun and nice book to read when it is completed.

This book is recommended to people who love to read fantasy novels as well as those who love graphic novels.
