Review of We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies

We Are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies by Matthew Tysz is a beautifully crafted book that takes the reader on a thrilling journey through a world of magic, science, and adventure. The author has expertly woven a tale that is both imaginative and immersive, drawing the reader in from the very first page.
One of the things that I liked about this book was the vivid imagery that the author employed to bring the world of Voulhire to life. From the sprawling cityscapes to the rolling countryside, every detail was expertly described, allowing the reader to visualize the world the characters inhabited easily. The imagery and the author's creative writing style made the book feel like a scripted movie, and I could easily imagine it being adapted for the screen.
The characters in We Are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies are a positive aspect of the book. Each one was expertly crafted, with its own unique personality and backstory. Galen Bray, the main protagonist, was a fascinating character. As an immigrant from the Lands of the Princes, he was eager to start a new life in Voulhire, and the wealth left to him by his uncle gave him the resources he needed to do so. Rowan, Galen's companion and executor of his uncle's estate was also a fascinating character, and I enjoyed the dynamic between him and Galen.
The book's plot was expertly crafted, with the perfect blend of magic and science. The author put a lot of thought and research into the book's setting, which he reflected in the world-building. I particularly appreciated the map of Voulhire that was included in the book, as it made it much easier to follow the characters' journey throughout the city. The writing in the book was also a highlight for me. The author's use of imagery was heightened, and I often got lost in the vivid descriptions of the world around me. The language used was elegant and illuminating, and the author's light humor throughout the book was a welcome touch.
In terms of criticism, I disliked very little about this book. If anything, the book's pace was slow, but it quickly picked up once the action got underway. I highly recommend the book to anyone who enjoys fantasy, magic, and science fiction. This book is a page-turning read that is exceptionally edited, thrilling, suspenseful, and well-structured. As a result of the above reasons, I rate the book 5 out of 5 stars, making it a must-read for anyone looking for an immersive and exciting adventure through a world of magic and wonder.
