We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies is a science fiction and fantasy novel written by Matthew Tysz. It described the splendor of Voulhire, an empire. Voulhire served as a sort of passageway between the physical and magical worlds of the cosmos and caromentis. It is populated by unique individuals. Some of these individuals possessed superpowers. Others are ordinary humans who are skilled professionals.
Galen Bray is a resident of the war-torn Lands of the Princes. Galen Onita, who was dying, requested that Bray should come to Voulhire. Magnum Caelum, a city in Voulhire, was his intended destination on this voyage. Galen viewed this as a positive change. He inherited his uncle's estate and forge in Magnum Caelum. Rowan, a financier and the executor of his uncle's will, was introduced to him. Bray and Rowan became friends. Rowan spent his time helping Bray adjust in Voulhire. Nevertheless, is he acting as a friend? Will his residence in Voulhire be more peaceful than it was in the Lands of the Princes?

How the author flawlessly captured each point of view was one of the book's most amazing aspects. Reading through it gave me the impression that I could follow the characters' stories as if I was sitting right next to them. I love the concept the author had in mind when writing the book. He successfully created a beautiful universe where faith, magic, religion, and science coexist peacefully with one another. Also, I love the never-ending struggle for supremacy and the struggle against evil. The book's layout was skillfully designed.

I appreciate Tysz's dedication to making a tapestry of biology, physics, and magic in order to create an intriguing system. Tysz made the decision to incorporate violence against children into the profile of his villains. He sensitively infused compassion into the characters in charge of dealing with the victims of childhood sexual and emotional abuse who were in the process of healing. The victims were respected and kept distinct from the perpetrators' intentions with care and purpose.

For readers like myself who want to use glossaries, maps, and history to broaden their knowledge of the world, Tysz gave a comprehensive reference. Those devoted fantasy readers who enjoy flawed royals, lovely boys with big eyes, and perilous magic will make up the greatest audience for this novel. Anybody who enjoys adult fantasy but avoids romance will appreciate the action and allegory in We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies. This book is a timeless story of worlds merging and secrets being revealed.

I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars because of its unexpected conflict and the tension in it. I enjoyed reading it. I did not encounter any errors while reading this book. It was exceptionally well edited. I recommend this book to readers who love fantasy and science fiction.
