The story started when a pure white crow named Sally landed with an elderberry which was later interpreted as an emergency happening in the world. All hands came on deck to begin the process of saving the world. Humans; Ruby and Seymour, Paul and Ester, Stacey(Ruby and Seymour's daughter), Andy and Joey(Ruby and Seymour's twin boys), Robots; Robyn, Max, Min, and Feeniks and even pets; Devyn the cat, Sally the crow and Moses the moth, all came together to work on how to save the people from the ongoing comavirus. They later realized the comavirus was human-made and it was a distraction to keep them ignorant of the real attack which was to kill as many humans as possible who doesn't agree with the way they think. Were they really able to save the world? The world has been put to sleep by the comavirus, how did the great awakening happen?

The great awakening by Arthur F. Seymour is of the science fiction/fantasy genre and it's intriguing how robots, pets, and even people come together to save the world from the attack of comavirus which puts a lot of people in coma and also stopped the world from its normal activities, hereby putting the victims and the world at large on lockdown. This coma virus can be likened to the Coronavirus disease which caused the world to stop for a while and caused a lockdown in the year, 2020.

The author being an electrical engineer incorporated his scientific knowledge into making the story worthy of science fiction/fantasy. The way he described the characters and what they do including their impact in evacuating the comavirus and even saving the world from evil people who want to take over the world. This book is the sequel to a previously published book titled "Earth Won" but it can be read as a stand-alone novel because the author summarized what happened in "Earth Won" which has just a little attachment to The Great Awakening. There is nothing I dislike about the book and I love that the book suits well as fantasy fiction that it is and I also love the poems attached to the story, they are great and thoughtful pieces.

I rate this book five out of five stars. It is professionally edited with minimum errors. The author should be commended for a job well done.

I recommend this book to lovers of science fiction and fantasy. This book is suitable for all age grades.
