Terms of Service is an incredibly interesting AI centred and dystopian novel. The novel is centred around Kim who, at the beginning of the book, finds herself to be an ordinary person living an ordinary existence until quite suddenly life begins to change and she has to navigate the new parameters of her world.

AI can be a difficult area to write about however Craig W. Stanfill manages to make an obviously dystopian world easy to navigate, imagine and understand and his writing clearly displays his knowledge and passion for the genre.

The way Craig W. Stanfill has portrayed alcoholism in Terms of Service begins as something subtle that slowly builds, it's been cleverly disguised and well thought out on how it would impact Kim and her life and those in it, including her intuitive household appliances.

I rate this book 4 out of 5 stars because while there was a great rise in the book towards the end the actual ending itself was slightly anti-climatic however I understand this is to help set up for the remainder of the series that Stanfill plans to write.

I believe due to some heavier themes in Terms of Service I wouldn't recommend it to a younger audience of below eighteen years of age.

I'd recommend this book to an audience aged eighteen to mid/late twenties to read it. The novel would definitely appeal to an audience with scientific minds that could easily grasp the concept of an AI dominated world although I wouldn't say that's a dealbreaker as Stanfill's writing can be easily understood even by someone without scientific background or knowledge.
