Terms of Service is set in the future, in a place that used to be the United States. The story focuses on Kim's life. In this world, everything is arranged; people have no control over the choices that exist in their lives because they have been arranged by AI. They live a bland life. The food they eat, how long they are on the way to or from work, even the partner—it's all arranged! Their lives were arranged by AI before they were born. In this world, humans are not allowed to live as free human beings. The story centers on Kim's daily work at the AI company. She begins to feel that something is wrong with the life she has lived so far. There is a human side of her that feels life isn't like this, and she begins to question everything.

The first thing that caught my mind was the housebot. I would like to have one! This story departs from the possibility that will occur in the future, seeing that now AI technology has emerged. When I first started reading this book, I assumed the conflict would center on Kim and other humans or AI. But it turns out, it's more than that; it's deeper. When Kim started questioning everything—the truth about her life and what she believed all along—I could feel it too. Confusion, fear, and betrayal all come together. Kim and Kimberly's assistance to one another conveys a message.

The technical terms in this book are very detailed, and Craig W. Stanfill really knows the theme. The character development is also very smooth. There is a clear story behind it. In this book, I found new words that added to my vocabulary. I also took the advice in this book, much of which I have quoted.

This has more to do with personal taste; I always need more time to read sci-fi themed books, and in this book the story goes slowly at the beginning. But, from the middle of the book to the end, it is very interesting, so I can't wait to read the rest. This book is very well written and edited! I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars. I found no holes in Craig's world or story; everything was neatly planned. I'm curious about the history of this world and how AI finally took over the world and how the continuation of this story unfolds. It would be nice to know the history.

I recommend this book for sci-fi fans, people who have questions about life, this book can provide a new perspective.
