The book Terms of Service was covered by Craig W. Stanfill. This is a fictional book about a world where everything is programmed, arranged, and governed by the company, hierarchy, and UCE. They establish the guidelines and anticipate that everyone will follow them. If you don't, you're judged to be self-centered, dealt with poorly, and denied any benefits. When Kim disobeyed the rule, she ended up in this situation.

Since joining the AI company five years ago as a trainer, Kim's life has undergone significant change since she returned from the park. A significant change in her life occurred after she was promoted to creator. She paid a high price for defying the corporations and the UCE movement when she was sent to the hazardous and decaying District 33. Unflinching and stubborn, she fights to live and rebuild her life while the Hierarchy plans to have her destroyed and the intelligence corporation tries to entice her back into their web of deceit. How will she retake control of her life? Will she be able to do it, or will their trap catch her? To find out what happens, pick up a copy now!

I love how each chapter flows into the next, demonstrating the author's inventiveness and imagination in the manner in which he told the story chronologically. The only thing that separates humans from AI is that people have emotions and free will, whereas AI is programmed to follow instructions and is unable to think for itself. I was astounded by the similarities between humans and AI. I also respect the bond Kim had with her AI, Kimberly; it was comparable to a mother-child bond. The virtual reality recreation of real life piqued my interest.

I admire the friendship that existed between Kim and Shan. Despite the AI company's best efforts to keep them apart because they believe Shan will negatively influence Kim, Kim and Shan have remained inseparable. As a result, the AI company has done everything in its power to keep them apart. Kim and Shan are two of my favorite characters in the novel. They are aware of what true friendship entails, and despite the breach the AI caused, they were still anxious to reunite and carry on with their lives. Shan has a free-will mentality; she prefers to live her life on her terms rather than have it dictated to her by others. She is really daring, which frequently gets her into trouble. She is the kind of friend one needs to make a bad day better, and she is a good friend to Kim.

The author's failure to clearly distinguish between a male and female character was one of the things I did not enjoy while reading the book. My reading of the novel was not enjoyable since I was always attempting to determine a character's gender. The author's word choice, such as how he changed the days of the week into numerals, felt weird to me. The book had excellent editing, as I discovered no errors in it.

For the reasons I listed above, I rate this book four out of five stars because the author did an excellent job on the book, and I was unable to give it a higher or lower mark.  Terms of Service is a book that I'll recommend to anyone who enjoys reading about scientific and technological advancements and to all fiction enthusiasts.
