Terms of Service: Subject to Change Without Notice by Craig W. Stanfill is a fantastic science fiction novel about a future where AI runs the world and the human race. The main character and protagonist, Kim, has lived her whole life in this world filled with Virtual Realities and Artificial Intelligence surveillance. In this world, AI controls almost everything from what people eat to who they go on dates with and what they do for a living. Kim has always followed the rules given by the AI Superiors, but when she reunites with an old friend, and they go on a rule-breaking adventure, her views on their society start to change. She starts to question a lot of things. Kim gets a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to work in the AI headquarters, where she becomes one of the best AI creators yet.

The author's experience and knowledge in AIs and VR programming come to light in how he explains them to the reader; this makes the book more believable. I loved the storyline flow from the beginning; even though the first part starts slowly, it gives the reader more time to understand how these things work. I like the character growth of Kim; at the beginning, she is very depressed and often drinks herself asleep, but later on, she discovers it was, in fact, the chip implanted in her that caused these feelings within her. After this, she rose from the depths and became more herself. I liked the bond that formed between the AI Kimberly and Kim; it reminded me of a mother-daughter kind of bond. The language used in Terms of Service might be a little scientific but is still understandable.

I cannot say there is anything I disliked about this novel. Terms of Service: Subject to Change Without Notice was exceptionally well-edited, as I found no errors. I enjoyed this book very much as I am a big fan of science fiction.

I rate Terms of Service: Subject to Change without Notice 5 out of 5 stars, the storyline was easy to follow, and the events flowed into one another. The author highlights a grim future with

However, there are extensive descriptions of intimacy as well as drug and alcohol abuse, so I recommend it to a more mature audience. Anyone who enjoys science fiction or is interested in artificial intelligence (AI) or virtual reality (VR) will enjoy this book.
