Earth one, by Arthur Seymour, is a short children's novel consisting of nine short stories.

The novel by Arthur Seymor is a collection of nine short stories about a man named Seymore and his fellow robot friend, Robyn. Seymour and Robyn are both adventurers, and they love exploring the beautiful earth. Every chapter tells a new cool and adventurous story about how Seymour and Robyn face and solve different challenges on their way to save the world and find peace. On their way, they meet several other people and their robots, and on their way, they together have to face challenges and moral dilemmas before they can settle down.

One thing that I liked about this novel is the moral of the story. How the world and the people in it are represented. We get a glimpse of what the future might look like regarding technology and people fighting to save the world from climate crises. How the technology around us will affect us in the future, and our lives, is one of many interesting topics this novel gives us a good picture on. This gives the book more depth, and can therefore also suit an older audience, not just children.

One thing that I disliked about this book is the fact that the storyline was a bit hard to get a hold of sometimes. The text was a bit hard to understand because the story hopped from place to place. This made it hard to follow the story sometimes and it confused me. Considering this is somewhat a children's book, the novel could have been written a little bit easier. This would have made it easier for the children reading the book to understand the plot of the novel.

I will give this novel 3 out of 5 stars. I give it this rating because I did not get too engaged in the story when I read it, but at the same time, I know that some others would be. The novel was written well, but the story did just not fit me. The writing of the book was not bad, but as I already wrote the story was just not for me. I will therefore recommend this book to teenagers who like science fiction. The novel would be perfect for a teenager who likes reading about exploration and adventurous journies. If you are also interested in technology and reading about robots, this book would fit you.
