We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies is a science fiction and fantasy novel written by Matthew Tysz. This fantasy book takes place in the vast country of Voulhire, a mystifying and stunning region, and is full of magic, mystery, and adventure. Galen Bray, who was born and raised on the devastated Prince's Island, serves as the protagonist of the tale. Galen's great uncle, a well-known blacksmith, determines that Galen should inherit his property and company in the Voulhire town of Magnum Caelum. Knowing that he will soon pass away, he assigns Rowan as his executor to find Galen and make arrangements for his long journey to Voulhire. Before he gets to the vibrant and stunning village of Magnum Caelum, Galen's uncle, whom he had never met, passes away. Galen is amazed by the conveniences and luxuries his new home has to offer when he first arrives in this quaint town.

I thought each character had strong development. I enjoyed how the book's introduction features a list of the characters. This served as a convenient reference for gaining a more profound understanding of each character. A glossary of words, concepts, and names is also provided by the author at the book's conclusion. This was also useful in my opinion. It was interesting to learn about Voulhire. The narrator switches throughout the book; however, the author clearly identifies each chapter's perspective by using headings. That chapter labeling is something I enjoy because it makes things clearer. A fascinating and enjoyable world was crafted by the author.

There was nothing that I disliked about the book; it was well-written. Although it can be challenging to keep track of all the names and subjects that are mentioned in the book, aside from that, I enjoyed reading this book. Furthermore, I really enjoy how the narrative begins. It piqued my curiosity and had me spellbound because it provided insight into both Gavin's life before moving to Voulhire and the reality of the Lands of the Princes. Additionally, it increased my commitment to Gavin's persona.

I am rating this book, We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies 5 out of 5 stars because it is an interesting book and I had fun reading it. There were no grammatical errors or mistakes in it; therefore, it was exceptionally well edited. I am glad that I came across such a fascinating book to read.

I recommend this volume for readers who enjoy fiction stories with magic, action, and suspense.
