The book Terms of Service by Craig W. Stanfill is a science fiction novel set in a fictional future where everything is controlled by AIs. The protagonist of the narrative is a woman named Kim, who is under the total control of the company she works for. She has a propensity to disobey, which forces her to deal with her boss, who is already aware of everything. It describes how she came to be in that position, how AIs monitored her, how the data was relayed back to her superior, and how one event almost cost her career. She had a friend who was always flouting the law and was therefore a detrimental influence. One thing inevitably led to another. Kim tried her hardest to escape the web of deception she was entangled in, until one incident gave her the opportunity to recognize that she was living a lie about her upbringing and the person she was made to become.

The author's way of drawing the reader into a world where Artificial Intelligence rules everything intrigued me about this book. Humans must blend in and work to avoid being seen. Robots are responsible for prescribing and overseeing every aspect of their lives. It's also impressive how the author tried to add humor to this novel. The characters in this book had a lot of depth. I found it thoughtful of the author to give readers background knowledge on the AI concept in the book. This clarifies how machines and people interact. The events in the novel were also well organized, which facilitated my reading. The prior events were also presented in a way that was easy to picture without disrupting the book's flow.

Nothing in the book bothered me; it had good writing and an interesting subject. The only part I took issue with was that the book started off a little slowly. Apart from that, I enjoyed reading it and thought it was a great book. Every incident and every emotion could be felt as if they were happening in the actual world because of the way it was written. I was hooked on this element of the novel until the very last line.

I am rating this book Terms of Service 5 out of 5 stars because the storyline was well-built and engaging. There were no grammatical errors or mistakes in it; therefore, it was exceptionally well edited.

I would highly recommend this book to any reader who is interested in science fiction, fantasy, mystery, or even romance.
