Review of Timewise
Ron had lived a full life. He had seen and done things that no ordinary man can boast of seeing and doing. Now he must tell us his story. His story started with a recollection of the first day he met Regina. She was far older and smarter than him, but that did not stop him from admiring her. Of course, he could not act on his desires because he was just a little boy. He could only work towards impressing her with his grades, as that was all he had to offer to gain her attention. Ron could explain his attraction to Regina, but he was at a loss for her reasons for being kind to him. She not only taught him things he would have ordinarily never known, but she also decided to fund his education. Why was she doing all of this? Did she have an ulterior motive that could land him in really hot water later? Why was she also so fascinated with time? To Ron, her fascination was close to being an obsession. Do you think Ron will ever get answers to the questions about Regina that have been on his mind for the longest time?
What I liked most about Timewise is the well-thought-out plot. The way the story was written gave me the impression that Robert Leet dedicated time to carefully writing this story. It is not one of those stories that you write just from imagination. Robert Leet included a lot of plausible scientific facts and postulated many theories about quantum physics. This tells me that Robert Leet is brilliant and may be onto something with his theories. I say this because they all made sense and helped me see the concept of time from a new angle. You can say that I learned so much from this book, which is supposed to be a work of fiction.
I enjoyed every aspect of Timewise. I do not say this carelessly. I say this because it is true. It was a long read, and it took me many days to read it through to the end, but it was worth it. The character development in the story was quite realistic. I say this because I literally read about Ron’s growth from a lost little boy into a man who discovered a dark secret about our world. It was like reading his journal, one that was well-detailed and filled with rich information about his life and the world he existed in. As I have already pointed out, I enjoyed both the entertaining and educational aspects of Timewise. Both aspects can be seen from the very first page of the book. I cannot say a negative thing about this book, not even if someone points a gun at me. That is why I am giving it a rating of 5 out of 5 stars.
I started reading Timewise with high expectations, and Robert Leet did not disappoint me. One such expectation had to do with its editing. Thankfully, the author and his editors ensured that Timewise was edited excellently.
Timewise is a science fiction novel that is filled with so much talk about the time that both entertains and educates its readers. I recommend it to readers who love science fiction novels that will teach them a ton about quantum physics while giving them a story that will keep them entertained for days.
