We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies by Matthew Tysz focuses on the life of a young man named Galen Bray. The story begins with Galen running away from his hometown, the land of princes, and he gets rescued by a captain. Galen is relocating to Magnum Caelum in Voulhire to inherit his late uncle's forge; He aims to start a good life in Voulhire and continue his late uncle's legacy with the help of Rowan, his late uncle's executor. Together they begin a journey to revolutionize the forge, but they experience a lot of troubles, including the availability of raw materials needed for their factory.

On the other part of Voulhire, King Wilhelm Arcolo appoints Eldus Alderman, a former judge of Soulhire as the new lord of Hillport. The king has confidence in Eldus's abilities to restore Hillport after suffering trauma caused by its previous lords, Meldorath and Orlin. Lord Eldus, with the help of his wife and children, hopes to revive the town's happiness by helping the people recover from his predecessor's cruelty.

I love every aspect of this book, the book is exciting and captivating, and the well-developed characters make it authentic and believable even though it has many characters. The events in the book were well described and are easily imaginable. The story's plot is highly engaging, thought-provoking, and suspenseful; it covers greed, fear, revenge, power, and war in a wildly constructed and vivid world. The author's writing skills were impressive and straightforward; one could easily follow the events in the book. Also, the language used was simple and easy to understand.

I loved the use of a map at the beginning of the book to show how different towns are located in voulhire; this will help the reader visualize this invisible world. I also loved the use of a glossary at the end of the book to inform the reader of new vocabulary. Galen was my favorite character; he was an interesting character. The author did an excellent job writing this book; how he imagined this imaginary world and vividly described it is pretty impressive.

I disliked nothing about this book. It was well written and exceptionally edited because I did not find any grammatical errors or typos. The book is exciting and enjoyable, therefore worth reading.

I am glad to rate this book 4 out of 4 stars because of its splendid editing. In addition, the book is fascinating and enjoyable.

I recommend this book to the audience who love fantasy and science fiction books as We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies will not disappoint.
