Zona: The Forbidden Land by Fred G. Baker is an adventure book that tells the story of a man named Grant Taylor and his adventure into the forbidden land of Zona. This book contains a lot of action, suspense, and exciting scenes.

Randall Taylor and his team members went missing on their expedition to Siberia. After a year, when there was no trace of Randall and his team members, the Russian government declared them dead. Grant Taylor is the nephew of Randall Taylor. Grant traveled to Russia to inherit his uncle's properties and estates. On getting to Russia, he met his uncle's attorney, Boris Ustinov, who asked his niece, Irina, to help Grant move into Randall's apartment. When Grant got to the apartment, he saw a strange man in his uncle's library going through his uncle's books and journals. He quickly went after him, but unluckily for Grant, the man escaped. Grant began to inquire about his uncle's last expedition. He met Godunuv, who helped him with vital information about his uncle's last expedition. Grant decides to go in search of his uncle with the help of Irina and others. Get this book to find out more about Grant's expedition.

There are many positive aspects to this book. What I like the most about this book is the storyline. The story was really interesting, with lots of action and suspense. The author did a great job of writing this book. The book was well-detailed. The major and minor characters were well-developed. I must commend the author for his narrative style and the use of simple vocabulary words. The love relationship between Irina and Grant made it fun to read. I couldn't even predict what would happen next as there were different plot twists. Grant is my favourite character. I love how he showed his strength and intelligence in his quest to go in search of his uncle. The book explores the themes of teamwork, love, romance, and bravery.

I disliked a few things in this book. The book contains numerous characters, which made it hard for me to keep up with the names of all the characters in the book. The book was voluminous. The author could have cut a lot of things to make the length shorter. I also dislike the fact that Grant went on an expedition with people whom he doesn't trust. A reasonable person wouldn't embark on such an expedition with people he doesn't trust. Aside from the negative aspects of the book, it was fun to read.

I'm rating this book 3 out of 4 stars. I deducted a star because of the negative aspects, which I mentioned above. I found no errors in this book. This shows that it was exceptionally well-edited. I recommend this book to lovers of adventures.
