Art of the Fallen King by Giorgio Garofalo tells the story of Korian and his friends as they start their journey in finding and fighting against the hidden force that threatens their world. The action takes place seven years after the brutal battle of Dosdava when a strange phenomen disturbs our personages world. Protagonista travel to Endura aboard a ship called Winds of Freedom, and a sharp eyed person can relate the name of the ship to the prize they are going for: freedom. They find their rescue on an island named Azif Lora Sea, but that is the calm before the storm that will come across when a strange light appeares and causes uncertainty and mystery. Young, unprepared and afraid, Korian, is chosen as a leader and from now on he is the head of a group that is bounded by friendship and devotion for each other. But will they be able to get thorough the upcoming challenges? Will they remain united and devoted to the plan?

In this novel we will be reminded of the connections between people and other human feelings. What I like the most about this novel is the humanizing of the personages and individual characteristics of each of them. We will take part of a battle between a unprepared man, Korian, and a powerful leader Aaron Hades. Korian has a handful of people, meanwhile, Aaron has the Stragoy army. The line will keep your mind occupied, the action will change radically and there will be a lot of changes regarding power levels and personages. The moment I felt as being the most intense was when the group was attacked by a giant and Korian had to take action and save the whole group. This is a revolutionary book, from strange creatures and disappeared worlds to a modern, futuristic and sci-fi world, both of them providing a fantasy tale.

I can’t find any negative aspect for this book. It is a masterpiece for the literature. It is full of action, but detailed, mysteries, thrillers and a lot of suspense. As a book catalogued as a fiction books it raises the standards to a future “Game of Thrones” for the modern literature.

I will give it 4 out of 4 stars. I can’t find anything I didn t like as a fiction reader. Across the book, readers will be able to meet personages with extraordinary powers and he will feel absorbed by the action from the beginning to the end. Even if the personages aren’t completely humans they posses human feelings and actions; with this I’m pointing to important lessons we have to learn during our lives.

From a objective point of view, I’d recommend this book for 14-18 years old. It s a great and intriguing book that can keep a teen occupied and interested for a long time. If a teen s birthday is coming soon go for this books and he will be astonished after readying it.
