Sean T. Smith authored this fantastic science-fiction titled; Legacy. The book featured everything a story needs to be perfect including; vengeance, time-travel, conspiracy, and most importantly, wonderful characters.

Nwarth, the original human, landed on a beautiful, yet unforgiving planet where all his loved ones died from predators. He swore vengeance and centuries later, he had it in his grasp. He was not just going to destroy one planet, but two. David, an alien who made drastic mistakes in the past, came to earth in hopes of preventing the annihilation of two planets . But he soon figured it is not a one-man-job and he was joined by a few others: Jessica, an anthropology student doing her masters; Director Bustos, her father; Bryce, JW, Lucas, Rick, and Sarah. Now the fate of two planets depends on the success of an unlikely team on an impossible mission. What would any of them give to stop Nwarth? What would Nwarth do to make sure his plan doesn't get derailed?

Legacy was a real page-turner, right from the prologue to the epilogue. I couldn't drop the the book as I was practically transported into the story as though I am one with the characters. Sean's description was superb, he computed fantastic characters, the twists and turns of the story only raised my curiosity, and the writing style was just good. The book is like none other and I must commend the author for a piece well written.

There are a few hiccups in the book. Although, there are no typos, but the characters were too open to believe David's story about the origin of humans. They didn't stand to question nor doubt the story. And, the team didn't seem to be skilled in problem solving. The solutions to their quest was never far from them and they never worked for it. And the book started a bit off-point with the introduction of the characters.

I am giving a rating of four out of four stars to the book Legacy. It is a well deserved rating as I am well pleased and satisfied after reading the book. The book contained no erotism, and didn't stand to sway religious beliefs. Although the major storyline about the origin of humans is in direct contrast with most religious beliefs as well as scientific beliefs. This could make some readers uncomfortable with the book. I would recommend it for science-fiction lovers. But readers who are not grammatically sound, might find some content difficult to understand because of the level of grammar.
