Legacy by Sean T. Smith is certainly entertaining. As a book delving into the future, the reader would not be disappointed to dive into this book. The author entertains you with never ending nerdy banters from the characters specially Jessica and Bryce. One moment you’d be talking about volcanoes and the next thing you know you’d be wondering about metaphysics or what about teleportation when at one point you are in an elevator and then you’d blink and be inside an spaceship dragged to a dangerous mission to attempt to stop Earth from vanishing.

The book is set in the far future and yet it opens with a scene from the past which certainly awakens the readers imagination in preparation for the wild and rollercoaster moments as the go through the literature. It covers a lot of topics not jus in science but in other areas as well and the reader would be left wondering, ‘What if this really is and will come true?” With the main story revolving around solving the puzzles surrounding an unexpected nuclear activity and discovering how revenge became the driving force for someone to try to obliterate an entire planet. Would they be able to stop it?

This book is a nuclear bomb as it satisfies a reader’s hunger for curiosity, adventure, humor, and action. There is never a moment that your brain will get bored with this book. It is not confusing even with the timelines that are in the story. The author was able to arrange the chapters in a way that you can clearly picture out the stories as you go through the scenes and meet the different characters.

I give this book four out of four because it’s just so good. As a reader, there is no doubt that there will be a lot of learning from this book. It opens a new possibility for our minds to explore. It is not confusing despite being a story from the future. Even without much knowledge of the terms used, the story provides context for the readers to understand the story clearer.

I am confident that science geeks will like this book. Any reader who is interested in physics, metaphysics, geography, volcanoes and history will like this book. Even readers who like history may find this book intriguing as it presents a different theory on where we humans come from. This book awakens the mind and will certainly leave you with more questions than answers.
