The Shade of Highfall
(The tale of Shrew)
By Mark O Dell

This story is about a girl who goes by the name Shrew, aptly given to her by her excellent theiving skills and ability to get away without getting caught, but her luck runs out and she gets caught and it's the beginning of something greater than anything Shrew had ever expected.
On the other hand , A Priest who claims to be doing god's work, enters the court of highfall and asks permission to build a temple, which turns out to be ruse under which plans to conquer highfall are being made. The country's rulers are unaware of the threats it faces. The shade of highfall is filled with magic, friendship, action and betrayal.

The thing that I liked the most about the book is that it has some unexpected turn of events which makes it intresting. The character development is shown fabulously.

The negative aspect of the books were it's diaglouges. The conversations were quite boring and lacked humor. There are so many names to remember and understanding each and every characters back story is quite difficult.

I would rate the book 2 out of 4
The book could have been written better. The story line was amazing but it got tiring to understand and remember everything.

If you are someone who is loves fictional stories with time lapses and magic then this book is for you.
