“To taking control of our fates and grabbing destiny by the horns and making it our slaves. We control what happens tomorrow, and not the other way around,”, but what if a Druid arrives and tells you that destiny chose you to save the realms? It is what happens in the book Seven Realms by Tayma Tameem.

Agarel, a druid, decides to follow an old prophecy and find out the seven chosen ones that can save the realms from all the darkness that The Unknown put upon the realms. At the beginning of the chapters, they are divided by each one of the chosen ones, during the books these divisions start to get more open by them meeting each other. In the last chapters, they are together looking for relics to fight The Unknown and save the realms. The ending is incredibly open to what is going to happen next, and I cannot wait to see what awaits The Seven and Agarel.

This is the second book written by Tayma that I’ve read, and she does not disappoint in this one. The scenes are perfectly described, full of details that make you feel like you are there, facing what the characters are facing, fighting their fight, feeling what they are feeling, and the best, living their stories. Another good thing about this book is that you can feel the references, but she does not lose her authentic writing. It likes she takes a lot of common ingredients and bakes a perfect, unique and delicious cake. What she writes in her books is simply amazing, makes you feel in their world.

But I have one complaint, the book has a lot of races, elf, mer, wolven, volg, and others, but she hasn’t described them with a lot of details, I had a hard time imagining the characters, their unique characteristics. I think she should have described every race with more details, taking her time on them, it would make the experience deeper in the book. Even if these races already exist in other books it is always nice to see the authors put a little bit of themselves on the creatures that belong to their books.

It breaks my heart to rate this book as 3 out of 4 stars. I love Tayma’s work. And I loved this book so much, its characters, its story, but the lack of details about the races made the book lost a lit bit of its magic. But, still, it is an amazing book, I totally recommend it.

I recommend this book to everyone who loves fictional stories. If you like good fight scenes, good friendship stories, and a lot of fictional races, this book may be perfect for you.
