We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies by Matthew Tysz is the first book in the We are Voulhire nine-part series. It is a fantasy, mystery, and adventure book. This book introduces characters with an interesting storyline. The king, lords, rebellions, magic, beautiful landscape, and a boy named Galen with adventure and mystery. If you like the above-said things, then this book is for you.

There are a lot of character insights and stories going on in the book, which makes it hard to write a review on the introduction. I would start from the attack on Hillport, as the book starts with introducing Meldorath, the magistrate. Galen starts his adventure to find his uncle’s property and business with the sole intention to take care of them as it was his uncle’s dying wish. With the help of the papers that his uncle sent him, the adventurer of the Galen began. What happens to him? Where will he reach? It is yet to be discovered.

The screenplay of this book is mind-bending; every chapter gives a new insight into the characters. The first few chapters should be read carefully to understand what’s going on. There are lots of characters with the introduction to the characters and lots going on, no wonder that it takes so many parts. The book is beautifully written, with mystery characters and adventures, and well-edited. The conversation and dialog between the characters are believable. I am eager to read the next part of the book. This book is professionally edited and well-written.

There is nothing I dislike about the book. The author does not give much detail about the timeline of the story. The book details the jury system in Voulhire, written scripts, and journals. I was quite intrigued looking at the map of the Voucher. The map helps a lot in understanding the geographical distances from each place. The provided reference guide is helpful in understanding the new words that the author invented.

For me, fantasy books are pleasant, and this book definitely gave me that pleasantness. I wish to read the rest of the parts, hope that the author will be excited with new conflicts and adventures. I would like to give 4 out of 4 ratings for this book. This book has all those things that a fantasy book requires; I would recommend it to anyone who likes fantasy books and to the above-18 age group.

It sounds like Tysz has designed an amazing world in Voulhire. I hope you enjoy the rest of the books in this epic adventure. Thank you for your take on the first installment :balloon:
