Are you familiar with the term Quantum Immortality and the Multiverse theory? If so, you would definitely love this book. If not, well this book will probably help you understand such terms, as the author did a great job in implementing them in his story

Worldlines as the title itself would probably giveaway the topic of the book, you would think you have figured it out what the story would be about but you will be a little wrong. Though Adam Guest (the author) intended to tell a story about parallel universes. He did so in a way where human emotions are the shining factors and he excellently brought realism to it as well to his storytelling.

The story is separately told through different Gary Jackson's perspective from different timelines. Starting from a positive timeline where he survived a fatal accident when he was a teenager, where his adult life was happy and his future was bright with the love of his life. To a less positive timeline where he did not survived the accident and suffered a fatal injury which affected both his body and mind leading him to view life less positively. The story shifts through different Garys accordingly and feels very interesting. It starts off normal and safe until the invasion of a different Gary's consciousness unto the Gary from the positive timeline then it went south from there. This is as far as I can go with out spoiling the story.

The story as a whole is interesting and was professionally put together. I, myself love the concept of a Multiverse and the thought of a slight change in the universe's wavefunction could lead to a parallel timeline fills me with curiosity, not to mention the interesting theory of Quantum Immortality and I find the idea that specifically detailed dreams could be different timelines or universes where our consciousness are simply bleeding out to that reality to be fascinating. As of that I give this book a rating of 4 out of 4.

I would strongly recommend this book to all the science fiction fans and all the science nerds out there reading this, you won't be disappointed. I would also strongly recommend this to people who would love to get an existential crisis.
