Jane Grace: Library of Light by Trace Sonnleitner, 3 out of 4 stars
Jane Grace: Library of Light is a fantasy novel by Trace Sonnleiter that depicts the chosen's profecy and the metropolis of New Atlantis. It appears to be a peacefull fairytale at first, but what happens when you discover that what you thought has changed? This type of story is full of nonsense for Jane Grace, a true survivor. Only 6 towns survived a terribe war, and only a few people survived it, but the rebels are waiting for the chosen one to restore peace to the rest of the globe “ A perfect balance is possible to imagine, but impossible to reach, so one is always trembling along an arc from too excited to too bored and back again. Everything we love most - be it sweetheart or flower - looks majestic because it seems to be trembling out of balance. While - Diane Ackerman said.
The only person who can give others hope is the chosen one, who hails from the last ancient descendent family with a gold jewerly capable of saving the entire planet from the ensuing chaos. Jane Grace, one of the survivors, appears to be a regular girl with normal routines, or as normal as a life after a war can be. All of this happened until the World Council came to assess the situation in the hopes of finding the one who could save everyone from death.
The genuine girl does not believe in such legends about the chosen one, and she doubts the council's ability to aid humankind because they have never been there for their people. During the battle, she lost everything: her family, friends, and even her hopes and desires. This redemption stuff seems too good to be true. ’’ If everything always went perfectly, I would feel like, When is the ball going to drop? Because good things don't always last. Maybe I'm a pessimistic person. When something just seems too good, I can't believe it. – ’’ January Jones said. Her powerfull personality was iradieting of pure energy in every chapter I read. She is a complicated character, and I appreciated even more the fact that she is a girl. In the most recent fiction I've been reading, the hero, the survivor, was almost always a boy.
With a little help from Henry, she was there at a meeting with the Great Counsil. It was an interesting point of view, but I would have preferred a more dramatic encounter between her and the counsil; the actual meet was a little too lackluster and it was quite obvious. Despite the fact that I had hoped for a better dynamic, I enjoyed their chat, which I found intriguing because Jane was filled with hesitancy and doubt, which intensifies my curiosity.
I appreciate how the action evolves, especially after she meets David Trimere, the man who built the most renowned and meaningful city in the world. He opened her eyes and gave her hope for the first time in years. The appearance of the blue man, who quickly becomes one of my favorite characters in the novel, was the most delightful portion for me.
Her return was full with emotion and hope, as she proceeded on an incredible and joyful voyage with Lana. The story reached a new level of excitement, as it was an astounding trip that had the opportunity to alter her life.
Despite the fact that I enjoyed the intensity on the adventure, I would like to see more dramatic and tense scenes that would allow Jane and Lana to grow further. Also, I'd prefer it if the last action was more exciting; the meeting with the man wearing the gold necklace has a lot of potential, which, in my opinion, might be exploited more.Because of that i would rate this book a 3 out of 4, I also recommend this book to a wide range of people, regardless of their belief or age. For those who appreciate adventures, complex story arcs, and friendships, this book can be a fantastic experience.
