The We And The They by Kyra Ann Dawkins is a Science Fiction novel. This novel is the author’s first book, and it is a short read with one hundred and forty pages.

The world was affected by a great famine. The whole world became a wilderness, deserts cracked, numerous shifting tectonic plates and streets were getting flooded. Everything in the world was no longer stable as the inhabitants of the Earth had to struggle for survival. A group of people called the We came together to share all things, and search for food and survival. The We had their dialect and also had a common language. They wandered away from the homes that they once had. They heaved for breath while chasing mirages. A group called the They offered them a way out of hunger with an invitation to join them. The They had an oasis and a farm that continually provided them with an abundance of food. The They were willing and ready to share all these with the We. Their journey together started as an interesting one, but things started to change as they noticed the difference in lifestyle.

The book was interesting as I enjoyed every bit of it. The characters provided in this novel were well-developed and interesting to read about. The author took time to develop each character in a way that they had one unique attributes or the other. Adelaide is a character who is filled with compassion for all creatures. She is loved by all due to her simple nature and way of life. Rose is a character of a lady who cherishes plants and love admiring nature and their growth. Samson is a character who is well-built and strong. He is humble and loves to care for others in his own way. All these characters made me enjoyed the novel. The author also took time to describe the graphic treatment of the animals used by the They for sacrifice. The author’s description was vivid and real.

I hate nothing in this book as the story was straightforward and written with simple and easy to understand sentences. The story was also consistent as the author made sure that there is no contradiction in her storyline.

This book was professionally edited with no error found. Therefore, I rate this book 4 out of 4 stars. I will recommend this novel to lovers of fantasy and science fiction. The book also contains some graphic details. Therefore, it is not meant for the soft-hearted.

The We and the They is quite an interesting title. And The We have a different life way than the They so when the two groups meet and see the lifestyle it would be somewhat weird and new. Thank you for a great review!

This sounds like an interesting premise and description of what happens when two very different cultures clash. I'm not too bothered by graphic details, so I might give this one a read. Thanks for the review!

I can't wait to read about the adventures of Adelaide, Rose, and Samson. A survival story that contains struggles between two groups We and They seems really intriguing to me. Thank you for your detailed review! :)

It's interesting how the They helped the We by sharing their food and shelter, but mistreated animals. Did the author focus on that on purpose? Thanks for the great review!

I'm not sure if I feel like reading a post-apocalyptic novel but this one seems interesting with the two groups of survivors meeting and dealing with their differences.
Ciao :)

"The We and the They" is a very captivating title and it drew me here. The review provides a very vivid description of how the We and They clash, can't wait to see how the book will unravel!
