The novel We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies by Matthew Tysz is the first book from the Series We are Voulhire. The book follows the story of the great Voulhire nation which is very prosperous in terms of wealth, culture and also advancement in technology. In the book, the protagonist of this book is Galen, whom at first we are introduced to when he was on a bout to the Voulhire. On the bout, the various people had their own specific reasons for visiting Voulhire. For Galen, his uncle had sent for him so that he may leave him his inheritance.

Voulhire is ruled by King Wilhelm. Despite it being a very prosperous nation, the king and its people face very many threats. In the book we find people with various kinds of super human powers. These people sometimes cause a threat to the ordinary people. The nation of has several cities which are mostly ruled by Lords. The lords are the ones in charge of overseeing and taking care of the people in the different parts of Voulhire.

What I liked about the book is the language use used by the author. Vivid description has been used very well in that when the author describes a certain aspect or thing; you can be able to create clear mental pictures. The author has also done a good work in writing the book from Galenโ€™s point of view. I also liked the fact that the geographical setting of the book is a very appropriate one, and it contributes a lot to the plot. It is very good that the author has at least given us a map of Voulhire at the beginning of the book and also a reference guide to help us understand the book better.

What I disliked about the book is that at the beginning, somehow I was getting lost. This is because some characters were not very well introduced at first. The use of superpowers in fighting wars also made me feel bad. This can be seen towards the end where the soldiers were fighting an invisible man.

I would gladly give this book a 4 out of 4 stars rating. This is because the book had a nice plot which was very engaging. The book was exceptionally edited and hence I did not find any grammatical or spelling errors. I would recommend this book to people who love novels full of fantasy and fiction.
