Have you ever thought of there being a multi-universe instead of a universe? Where a scenario that occurred, play out in different Worldlines? Worldlines by Adam Guest is a thrilling story that centers on science and crime. Gary Jackson was in a good position in his life. He had the beautiful Michelle as his girlfriend and a trustworthy best friend, Sinead. Everything was going well for him until things went south. Charged with the first-degree murder of his girlfriend, he had no idea of what happened.

Gary, in a different Worldline, had a grudge against Michelle. He murdered her while he was in a lucid dream. Did he murder someone for real and made an innocent person a murderer? Sinead’s mother, who suffers from vascular dementia, accuses Gary of stabbing Michelle at a party. How did she know about what happened in the other Worldline? Despite all Gary’s efforts to prove his innocence, everyone found it hard to believe him. It is now up to the other Gary in a different Worldline, alongside his friends, to prove his innocence. Will they be able to prove his innocence?

What I liked about this book was that it was easy to understand. I was intrigued by the plot. While reading this novel, I began to wonder about the possibilities of the existence of Worldlines. It shows how deeply I connected with the book. Everything seemed factual despite it being science fiction. There were times when my heart was about to leap out of my chest while reading this novel. I appreciate the fact that this story is different; the writer didn’t limit his imagination. The twists and turns in the novel were superb. It is one of the best books I’ve come across so far.

I rate this book a 3 out of 4 stars because of the errors that occurred. Although I enjoyed the book, it was disheartening to see those errors, as that was the only thing that I disliked. I didn’t read as smoothly as I would’ve loved. There were times I stayed awake overnight so I can find out what happened next. Adam Guest’s imagination in this book is second to none. The events in this book were unpredictable, and that was what made me excited to continue reading. The story was concise and explicit. Overall, it is an intriguing novel.

I recommend this book to people that find interest in sci-fi and fantasy. It also has a touch of crime to it. There were some words of profanity, which may be sensitive to some readers. I enjoyed the book a lot more than I imagined. Worldlines by Adam Guest is one of those books that are hard to forget. The way the writer made every scene come alive is spectacular. Every character in this novel was connected. It is simply a must-read.

Any "multi-verse" themed book seems to need lots of research from the author. It is such a complex topic to explain and put into a story plot. Thanks for your review!

I couldn't agree more. Although the story had a complicated plot, the author made it very easy to understand. Thanks for commenting :D

I am really curious about this book and Gary's lives in the different Worldlines. I wonder what I am up to in the other Worldlines. Would I even recognize myselves?

Your review creates to me great expectations for the book. I would be really excited to read it since a few books seem to successfully and harmonically combine mystery and science fiction. Great review!
