Review by Alheotuci -- Zara Hanson & The Mystery of ...
Zara Hanson & The Mystery of the Painted Symbol by J.L. Haynes is a book that centers on science and adventure. Zara Hanson, who had more potential than she ever imagined, goes on a mission to unravel the mystery behind the painted symbol. As time goes on, Zara began to find answers about herself and her purpose. She teams up with Ansebe and Fez-Pyan to save the human race. Was it a coincidence that the trio came together to achieve their goal? This book talks about the extraordinary. It centers on events that are beyond the unexplained.
The trio had their lives put at risk both on Earth and on other planets. They faced so many dangers more than they ever expected. Zara was exceptional; she had a crucial role to play in the book. Due to the irresponsible ways of man on Earth, the Elb wanted to end the human race. While going through many obstacles to unravel the mystery of the painted symbol, was the answer always close-by? Who is Zara Hanson, and what is her purpose?
What I liked about this book is the fact that I was on my toes while reading this book. I was always excited to see what would happen next. My all-time favorite was Fez-Pyan; he made me laugh when reading the novel. I appreciate the writer’s use of humor in this novel. When reading this book, I thought some of the characters at the beginning of the story did not have a part to play. But I was glad the characters did not seem out of place. The story is quite extraordinary.
The negative aspect of this book is the mistakes that occurred in the book. Some things were hard for me to wrap my head around while reading this novel. I did not enjoy this book as much as I would’ve loved. Some events were not necessary for this story. A lot was going on in the book, which made some things difficult for me to understand. I wish the writer had broken down the book into other parts. Hence, explaining some of the events in detail.
I rate this book a 3 out of 4 stars because of the mistakes that occurred. Although I enjoyed the book, some things were difficult to understand. I appreciate the writer’s effort in doing something out of the ordinary. My imagination wasn’t limited when reading this book. I had a great time while reading the novel. The mystery, adventure, and the fear of the unknown gave me a thrill. It is an intriguing story. Zara Hanson & The Mystery of the Painted Symbol sure never disappoints.
I would recommend this book to people that are interested in sci-fi and fantasy. For people who like to read about adventure and mysterious events, this is the book for you. There were some words of profanity, which may be sensitive to some readers. Reading this book made me imagine every scenario however I wanted, which I appreciate. It is simply a must-read.
