The Great Awakening by Authur F. Seymour is a sequel to the book Earth Won, by the same author. The author summarises Earth Won in the first pages of the book. The book can be read as a stand-alone. The book is a sci-fi novel with a romantic twist. It is also a good read for poetry lovers.

The outbreak of a man-made virus, known as the coma virus, which causes people to go into a comatose state. Threatens the existence of mankind. Seymour and his wife, Ruby, on their visitation to Dr. Paul's lab finds out about this deadly virus. They have to isolate from the rest of the world in a cave with their villagers. They are forced to look for ways to contain the virus from the cave. Who would believe that the most unlikely things such as Love, a crow, a moth, and a future telling machine created by Seymour twins, will serve as a mass weapon for the battle. To find out how Seymour with his crew of heroes consisting of (Ruby, Paul, Ester, Jimmy, Stacey, AJ twins, the villagers, their personal GA's, their pets, and other things), all from their isolated area, helped to combat the virus to save mankind. Grab a copy of this great book.

What I really loved most about this book, was the romantic twist. The compassion showed by both couples should be emulated by every married person. The book contained lots of suspense, mystery, lots of action and romantic twist. My favorite character is Ruby. I liked how compassionate she was, she was a good wife to the husband, and she was also not reluctant in her motherly duties. I think if most moms were like her, we won't have so many broken homes.

I find nothing wrong about this book, The plot was realistic, the author painted a vivid picture in my mind. I so much like the poem, The bugs and fleas. It made me believe that no matter how small you are, you can always make a significant impact on the society. I think this book should be replicated as a cartoon series, it would help teach children that love achieves more than hate.

I’m rating this book 4 out of 4 stars. I found no error in the book. This shows that it was professionally edited. I loved how the book ended. It left the readers with something to think about, and it also paved the way for the production of a sequel to the book. I recommend this book to lovers of stories associated with sci-fi, romance and also lovers of poetry.
