We Are Voulhire: A New Arrival Under Great Skies. This is the first novel of a running series, the author Matthew Tysz has excellent storytelling capabilities. The novel revolves around Galen Bray. The character appears timid in his search for a new opportunity.

As we travel with Galen, we see a different side of him. New places provide new opportunities and adventures. Through these adventure's we see the main character shed off his old persona. We see him adopt new skills and abilities gradually.

Aside from the events revolving around Galen, we see a lot happen in Voulhire. Galen is in search of hope and a new start. He is unaware of everything taking place in his new surrounding. Amid economic success in Voulhire, we meet several characters. Some characters are for Voulhire others are against it. Each character has their agenda that only time will tell.

I liked reading the novel because it's enjoyable. The story starts on a high note. The action draws the reader's attention. I loved the fact that the author captures and maintains the reader's attention all through the novel.

The novel is divided into various plot twists.
The plot twist helps unravel each character's abilities and agendas. I like how each character's agenda advances the plot of the novel.

The author's unpredictability makes the novel unique. Each persona is not who they seem to be. The only way to be sure about a character is to read on.
On the other hand, I feel like the novel has a loophole.

The author leaves a loophole in one of the plot twists. An event that affects the lives of the characters is investigated the results are inconclusive. This event leaves the readers with a lot of questions rather than answers. The novel ends with this as a question mark.

I would rate the novel 4 out of 4. Aside from the excellent grammar, the book is well-edited. The author applies a lot of thought in terms of plot execution. The author briefly explains the character's past within the story for the reader to understand the character's present. The use of humor makes the novel lively and funny. The book is an excellent read.

I would recommend the book to 18-50 years old. It's never too late for second chances. The novel has the element of new beginnings and second chances. This novel forces us to think beyond our scope of thought. It broadens our expectations of events and life. You can always have a new beginning under a new sky.
