Wordline is an interesting read. This is not your ordinary crime novel. The Author Adam Guest introduces the element of crime in an expected way. The novel is written in a first-person narrative base.

The character introduces himself to us the reader. He narrates an event that happens to him. This event affects his life in other worldlines. In each worldline any outcome is possible.
The author thinks outside the box in terms of the plot twist, title, and cover. Wordline a physic word stands for 4 dimension. The cover of the novel has 4 images of the character, representing the 4 dimensions. And in each dimension any event associated with the main character can have any possible outcome. The uncertainty of any possible outcomes makes the novel an interesting read.

I like the novel's plot twist and the uncertainty of what will happen next. The author introduces an element of crime in the most unsuspecting way. As a reader, his plot twist catches you by surprise. His ideas are fresh and original. This is not your common crime novel. This is a crime that can not be explained to a closed mind. We struggle to understand the main character's explanation, this is what makes it so perfect.

On the other hand, I do not like the direct approach to the plot twists. The author needs to prepare the reader's mind. The author can take the reader on a step to step basis before a major event occurs. In major events, a character does not become a villain overnight. Several setbacks and major traumas can influence the character of a person. It's the author's job to show us how this event changes the character. A loophole was left in terms of the two major events and the correlation with the mains character's behavior.

I would rate the book 3 out of 4. The book is interesting with unique plot twists. The author thinks outside the box. This is not your common everyday crime novel with the same plot twist. The crime forces the reader to think beyond their usual mental scope. I believe the writer could have still done more.

I would recommend this book to an audience of 18-45 years. This novel is for open-minded individuals. Open-minded to the many possibilities life has to offer. Any event that occurs in life can yield any possible outcome. With this in mind, open-mindedness can help us navigate life with so much ease.
