We are Voulhire: A New Arrivals under Great Skies by Matthew Tysz is an ongoing series of science fiction revolving around a fantasy tale about a man named Galen Bray, a young man who was born in Prince Island where poor people lived with dirt and people who were fortunate to have some careers lived looking over their shoulders.

All his life, he knew war and how to survive until his uncle, who resided in the most powerful kingdom known as Voulhire, decided to make him the next of kin over his work as a blacksmith because he was dying. His last wish was to give back something to his family, although he had been separated from them for a very long time. Galen was the only heir remaining. As he was heading toward the ship that would take him to a world that would totally be new to him, Galen thought about what her grandmother had told him before she passed, she told him to” see good in everything, and the best will find him." Pg 11.

Voulhire kingdom was known for its strong economy and a loving king called Wilhelm Arcola, who loved his people as much as they loved him. Despite the kingdom being powerful, it also had powerful and evil people who only lived for themselves. Among the powerful people were a mage known as Meldorath, he was the king’s favorite general and a friend, but the king loved him as much as he feared him. Why did the king fear him?. Matthew Tysz takes us on to an interesting ride to Hillport, a complicated town that goes through immeasurable grieve, fear, shame, pain as they head towards a golden age. As the story develops, the author sprinkles the reading with his wisdom and humor; for example, I personally found it interesting when the king was worried and somehow reluctant to receive news because the kingdom was advancing so fast in a good way. He could not figure out why his friends pointed out that even good change could sometimes feel scarily pg 23.

Hillport was also a piece of voulhire kingdom that was innocent, and people were not afraid of their feelings; for instance, lord Eldus had his heart melt when a young man gifted a pretty girl some flowers in the middle of the street in daylight pg 62. Lord Eldus had great plans for Hillport, and his plans were to make hillport the biggest shipping network in the entire kingdom despite it being a poor and complicated town. Will lord Eldus be alive to see his plans come alive?. The author uses an interesting way of developing the novel's characters in a lovely and easy way to connect with every character in the book.

The level of suspense got me glued throughout the entire reading. My favorite character in the book happened to be Marshus, lord Eldus’s son. I resonated with the role he plays in the development of this novel. I loved his free-spirited lifestyle and the affection he showered her sister. Marshus appears to me like an older man full of wisdom and confidence whilst he is just a young man who is ambitious and does not believe everything he is told. I loved the affection that is developing between Galen and Rowan, who currently want nothing but the best for each other. I am excited to see what Matthew Tysz has in store for them, the role they will play together with the other new arrivals who arrived in the hillport after powerful and destructive events took place at the Hillport. Among the new arrival is a young woman named Beth who comes from another world. What has the golden age got to do with her?.

The author of this novel did amazing work crafting this work that is educating and entertaining. I flowed with the author's writing style. I think almost everyone would connect with his words.

I would recommend this book to all audiences, especially those who enjoy a well-written science fiction story and those who like to enhance their perception through reading.

I rate this book 4 out of 4 stars since it is professionally edited, and I enjoyed reading it.
