In writer Braxston A. Cosbys book; Steel Reign: Flight of the Starship Concord, his main character, Steel Reign, is the ex.spy, ex.hero and bounty hunter searching for his long lost sister. With almost no resources, no plan and no friends, Steel Reigns chances for finding his sister seems very slim indeed, but finding both new and old friends helps along the way. This is a fast pace story, written in a first person view, and it will keep you reading until the last word.

I like that the characters are given some room to evolve and give us a chance to see that there is depth instead of only the initial stereotype. The story evolves fast, and there is no resting place until the book is over. I find the language, wording and grammar uncomplicated, and it makes this an easy read for most ages of readers.

What I liked least is that the writer uses the numeric "1" instead of typing out the word "one". Cosby is doing this as an experiment to keep the reader alert, but for me this keeps stopping my reading-flow, as I double check contex to ensure that "I got it".

The subtitle of the book, Flight of the Starship Concord, gave me an expectation to get to know the ship better, and this left me hanging as the book suddenly ends with only small bits and pieces. I rate this book 3 out of 4. Change back from using numerics, and give me more of the ship so that the title and book matches, and this will be a 4 out of 4 for me.

This book is edited to a high standard. I could not find any misspellings in the book, just one incident of using finishing instead of finish on page 29, and this might even not be an error. It does not contain vulgar or profane words, and exept from some harmless flirting, there is no erotic scenes or description that would give reason for reaction.
