Review by baraka1234 -- We are Voulhire: A New Arrival u...
We are Voulhire is among Matthew Tyze nine fantacy genres. It's in the science fiction novel whose story details concerning a remote land ruled by a cruel king Wilhem. Voulhire is a land of black magic and peace in scarce here. The land has countless enemies including very close friends. In this land, being poor or wealthy is not a source of peace. The wealthy are suspected of aiding enemimies, while the poor are thought to face death as a result of diseases.
Under the leadership of two Lords, Voulires economic situation worsened the nation go through so much struggle. The Riva Rohavi group constantly couse trouble to Voulhire cities from time to time. All these troubles joned together made Galen leave his homeland not mindful of what might lay ahead of him. He left at a time when Voulhire was setting pace for a new era called the golden erathrough which the nation would greatly make progress.
The novel is mostly in the first person narrative as seen with Gale's story narrating the things hehad to go through. It is slightly also in the third person narrative because the rest of the citizens are actively involved in their complaits and murmurings. Generally, the story is thrilling and creates the desire to keep reading and understand the next unfolding events.
What I enjoyed most is the complicity of the novel. Everything is intertwining together. The metaphors, the similes, magic descriptions, the lifestyle and so on. Examples are: "finger nails cracking, sound of metal cutting through the room and so on."
I cannot point anything I dislike concerning the book. Maybe the only thing I can point out is violence, adult language, and magic which some readers may dislike those under the age of 15.
Grammatical errors in these book book are limited and this is evidence that the book was well proof read and edited. Unless you are a keen reader, you can notice any. Examples are omitting use of capitals where necessary, over spacing, use of foreign word, and other minor errors. Once again, it's really hard even noticing.
I rate the book 3 out of 4 stars because the author has taken ample time to narrate about the characters and land of Voulhire. He does not just narrate concerning the people’s lifestyles, he covers the diamond structure aspects of the people meaning the various day to day aspects are covered including their magic, kingdom politics, enemies and battles, enjoying life, and mourning it among others.
I do not give it 4 out of 4 stars because there are some instances where nude language is used which is not good for minors. Again the violence, shedding of blood and deep occult can easily put off the fearful from reading the book.
I recommend the book to those who love fiction, mystery and fantasy. It’s not a good read for kids and those with a fearful heart which includes fear of magic, violence and cruelty.
