We are Voulhire: A New Arrival Under Great Skies by Matthew Tysz a science fiction fantasy novel talking about the existence of two worlds, is the first of the We are Voulhire series. This novel is suspense filled even from the beginning. The novel starts out with Galen,the protagonist who has gotten a chance to live a land deveatated by war after receiving an inheritance from his great uncle. He travels to a city know as Magnum Caelum in a kingdom of Voulhire where his uncle lived, to receive his inheritence.

All the while, the King of Voulhire Wilhelm Arcolo, is having to deal with the influence of a powerful magician in his kingdom called Meldorath. For this, king appoints a new mayor to the Coastal city near Magnum Caelum Hillport, a former judge of the Soulhire court. The new mayor is tasked with ending the sufferings that was caused by the past mayors of Hillport,this was however threatened by voilent insurgents who attacked Hillport. Will the King sustain his throne in a magical world full of powerfull mages where some of them are enemies to the King? Intriguing right.

Impressively, Matthew Tysz describes the characters in this novel artfully with details on their actions,feelings and emotions, the major characters came to life while the minor characters were not left out in the development. He also introduces to the readers Caromentis, the world of magic and Cosmos, the world of order and time. There is something interesting in every page, sometimes its mystery, information,draft,suspense and many more.

To say I enjoyed reading this novel would be an understatement. The universe and fantasy created by the author is really captivating. The sentences and the vocabulary used by the author is also admirable and blends the framework of the story in such perfect manner. The book, We are Voulhire: A New Arrival Under Great Skies is filled with suspense intrigue politics and excitements. The different ideologies and major characters provided an interesting read. The story is not only facinating but also entertaining

I found myself immersed in the authors imagination and how he managed to bring to light my creative thought. Personally, I did not find any part of the book that I disliked, I also did not notice any errors, it certainly was exceptionally well edited. I will rate this book 4 out of 4 stars. I also recommend this book to every class of people especially lovers of fantasy and medieval history. It definitely is an awesome read. I am going to read the second book of the series.
