We are Voulhire: Someone Else's End is a science fiction/ fantasy novel written by Matthew Tysz. It is the third and final novel in the We are Voulhire series. The story of Galen, Rowan, and Demetrius continues. Galen has been living in Magnum Caelum for a while now and wants to visit Soulhire, the capital of Voulhire. Rowan comes from an important family in Soulhire and they can get the three of them into a trial to see the king, something Galen wanted to do while they were in the city. Meanwhile Nartik is taking homeless people and orphans to serve in the army, and Meldorath is plotting against the king. He isn't the only one who wants the king gone and Wilhelm does not know the danger he is in.

Galen is starting to think that the happiness and comfort of living in Voulhire will soon end. Hillport and Virko have already been attacked and Voulhire has a lot of enemies that are getting stronger. Meldorath is alive, the Mianoran council does not like King Wilhelm, the Riva Rohavi is growing, and the violence of the Land of the Princes is not far away. Can Voulhire defend itself for what is coming?

My favorite part of the book was how the narrator changed each chapter. I was happy to learn more about Galen's past in this book. The author gave us glimpses of Galen's old life through his nightmares. The reader got to see from Demetrius and Rowan's viewpoint for the first time, which I also liked. Many characters who were briefly mentioned in the first two books, such as Meldorath and Wilhelm, were much more prevalent in this book.

Even though I did enjoy reading this book, I would have to say that it was my least favorite in the series. The reason is that I found it to be repetitive. In all three books, a city was attacked, and Galen, Rowan, and Demetrius had to escape. However, I thought the author wrote a very good ending to the book and the series.

I give We are Voulhire: Someone Else's End by Matthew Tysz 3 out of 4 stars because I liked the continuation of Galen's story and I liked how the reader gets to know more about Meldorath. I decided to deduct one star for the repetitive plotline. The book was exceptionally well edited. I would recommend this book to readers age 16 and up because of a few instances of vulgar language.
