Containment breach of WM.A.YANDELL is the first science fiction book that I have read, I must conclude that this singular book caught me. Even though it is written in a somewhat difficult way to understand and follow, as the pages pass, this is in the background and the development of the plot totally absorbs you

This book is narrated mostly in the first person from the point of view of the main Doctor Walter Smithton, he is a research scientist who works in an extremely protected and secret environment because he is in charge of creating and developing synthetic life forms. He has made a great discovery that has him worried. This increases after a group of mind readers were sent to their facilities and the nerves and guilt make him enter a cycle of crisis.

They are on a mission to find a qualified group that can eliminate an experiment that has gone out of control in one of their spacecraft. Dr. Smithon and his team are chosen to carry out this mission, however, the task turns out to be more difficult than they expected since these creatures have the ability to learn and develop to protect themselves from attacks

One of the first problems I had with the book is the form without chapter that the writer uses. In its place, it leaves us a mark that although at the beginning it worked, this did not prevent me from losing myself on certain occasions. During the development, we are mentioned certain skills that some people have in this world and the fact that it is given an extensive explanation seemed unnecessary because it does not have a great weight in the story rather than helping the character at certain times. The writer has a tendency to leave many questions without a direct answer, as you go you can imagine what has happened and although that is interesting, it is easy to forget and feel lost because you have to pay close attention to the small details, which forced me many times to re-read certain scenes

After passing half of the story and once they are transported, this remains neutral most of the time, everything progresses slowly and although it is understandable because it helps explain many things, the plot becomes boring at a certain point and personally, It made it difficult for me to keep up. However, the action returns to the maximum after this lapse and from there, things become more interesting, much of this is the convergence of all the information given. The zayans were one of the first factors that we explained in the book, that made me think that they would have a great weight in the development of the story, however, during 90% of this they are only mentioned and their participation is almost nil until Arrived the final pages.

What I really liked about the story is that it has a slow start, we can see certain crew members as they return to earth and they make many mentions to this experiment that personally made me curious to know what they were. The story is easy to understand and allows you to deduce where the next scene might go without becoming predictable. You can connect the dots and understand how everything is related, especially at the end, as you must deduce certain endings that are not explained explicitly. The reading process was very pleasant at least the first half, as the story progressed especially before the big launch. I liked how each character was unique and different, everybody with their own worries are taken to the limit and exploited but not able

Near the end, it just took one sentence to fill me with emotion again. The turn the novel takes had not come to mind, but once I stopped to think it made a lot of sense and I think it was the best use that could be given, I really liked that the novel has caught so much that seeing his final development I get excited and that I came to cheat completely

I'm going to give it 3/4 stars because of the small errors that there were, in general, these caused a mini block in my reading. For the rest, it is a very good book

This novel is highly recommended for readers of science fiction, dystopia, Thriller, etc. Out of the small dislikes and confusions that I took, I liked it and enjoyed it to the fullest.
