Review of Princess Milano Confessions!!!
Princess Milano is a confident woman who demands to get what she wants when she wants it. She wants to become a famous actress. Her father is a second-rate movie producer, and she initially thinks that he can help her with her career. She has no trouble getting him to do what she wants by having sex with him. She knows that this is what he wants from her because, starting around the age of 10, whenever she would sit on his lap, he would get aroused. This is a huge mistake that she soon finds out because he falls in love with her in a sexual way, constantly wanting sex from her, and he cannot get her the parts that she so desperately wants in films. She does, however, get him to relocate the family to Hollywood. She is also a comedian, performing stand-up while searching for a director to help her advance her budding career.
I had mixed feelings about this book. It was an easy and quick read, as it is a short book, and I read it in one night. It was a bit humorous at times, and I enjoyed it for these two reasons mentioned. What I disliked about the book was the main character, Princess Milano. She was a confident woman, but very conceited and had no morals whatsoever. She bossed everyone around and demanded that everyone bow to her every need. I also disliked the incest that went on between her and her father.
Princess Milano Confessions was not professionally edited, if edited at all. I found numerous errors, non-existent commas, formatting issues, and spacing issues. It took away from my enjoyment of reading the book. I am rating this book 2 out of 5 stars. I’m deducting a star for the incest in the book, and another star for the arrogance and conceit of the main character. I deducted a third star because of the editing. It needs a couple of rounds of proofreading to make it enjoyable to read. If you don’t mind the editing, can overlook the incest, and appreciate a little humor, then this book is for you.
