A broken heart, a shattered soul, and a journey of hope and despair. Aiden Summers, a shell of a man, finds himself holding a gun to his head, determined to take his life. However, his plans fail, and he ends up in the hospital with five bullet holes in his body after being shot by a police officer. It was there that he heard of the Magic Bridge and the thousands of people who died trying to cross it in search of the truth. With nothing to lose, he embarks on a journey of a lifetime as he ends up going to India, where he learns about Jesus and his righteous ways from people of different religions. When all hope is lost and he finds himself in jail after saving a woman from being sexually assaulted, he has no choice but to return to America after having his visa canceled. At the last moment, he changes his mind, and with the police hot on his tail, ready to arrest him again, he takes a leap of faith and plunges into the sea in an attempt to cross the bridge himself. Will he be able to brave the stormy seas in order to cross the bridge and find the redemption and truth that he seeks? Or will he also end up dead like the thousands that have tried before him? Follow Aiden on his journey to the Magic Bridge and find out what becomes of him.

Magic Bridge, is a phenomenal book written by Tom Wheeler. The entire plot surrounds the battle of faith that people often find themselves going through. The more common questions asked are whether God exists or not, whether religion is man-made, and whether there is a way to establish control over mankind. The author uses fiction to teach us about Jesus, who he was, and the sacrifices that he made for others, while at the same time taking us on a timeless adventure of self-discovery.

The scenes depicted within the novel are extremely detailed, and the reader can't help but find themselves immersed in the characters. The use of the Indian language gave the book a very realistic feel.

There was nothing to dislike about the book. My favorite part of the book was when Aiden had the experience of a lifetime under water riding a giant sea turtle and gazing upon the wondrous and vast amount of sea life. The book was well edited, and it had me wanting to sit down and finish it in one go. I therefore rate the book 5 out of 5.

The book contains violence, profanity, blood, and death. It is an inspiring book, and if you are one of those millions out there who have or are giving up hope in life, then this book is definitely for you. It is one that will change how you view the world and hopefully bring about change in your life.
