Being that I read Requiem - Book 2: Exposed before I read the first book, and I can say I was very invested and well informed. The author made sure to connect the two books with the information from the first one. There are a few sexual parts but nothing too crazy that if a minor was reading, they'd understand or get ideas. There is some vulgar language but not too much where you stop to think "this is too much". Throughout the book, which I downloaded to my phone, there are many errors with the editing such as spacing in the text. Such as on pages 545, 419, 309, 207, 101, and page 9 just to name a few. These pages have editing issues with the spacing between text. I saw two typos one on page 76 and the other on page 373 out of 556 pages, which aren't bad because I was still able to understand what was being said. As far as the actual book, I can say the author is capturing her readers and keeping them interested with the suspense and drama. I believe she did a great job writing this book and captivating the audience. Most times you would have to read the books in order as they are written but not in this case. This author has potential to become the next best Urban writer. In all I would love to read the first and third book. I submit a rating of 2/4 only because of this editing issue with the spacing, which could be way better if paid more attention to. I give the overall rating of 3/5 because I was invested and wanted to keep reading even with a few editorial issues.
