I have just finished reading the compilation, "The Vine, Messages of Hope From Around the World" by Adria L Dunn with a forward by The Dahli Llama. To say that I am impressed and awed is to put it mildly. In a world that is ever changing, and at times, completely unnerving, this compilation of letters does what it sets out to do. It gives hope that out of the darkest of times, we may shine a light and beacon of hope that creates new light. By opting to compile letters from some of the most brilliant minds, dedicated humanitarians, and every-day people just desiring a better world, Adria has produced a book that is educational and inspiring.

The editing is done expertly. Despite the fact that these letters are from many countries, languages, and dialects, I found no grammatical errors while reading. Each letter is a story unto itself. The authors of the individual letters give riveting accounts of their experiences, and their hope. For those of us who struggle with mundane issues that we consider insurmountable, these letters put things into a different perspective. We all suffer tragedy and difficulty, but most of it is easily overcome. When we are presented with those who have experienced tremendous adversity and still have hope for a brighter tomorrow, we begin to see how to find a single light to guide us out of the darkness. This is a book for everyone who has ever been tempted to give into despair. In ordinary language, without the frivolity of hype or sexual content, this book will inspire you to hold out hope that we can create a better world if we all just come together. I give this book a 5 out of 5 stars for content and inspiration.
