I am personally not someone who enjoys any kind of nonfiction much but, boy did this book impress me. It was such a beautiful read. You might get emotional during the read because some of the stories in there can really move you and that was what the author was aiming for...To bring our deepest parts of our humanity and emotions to the forefront by taking us through a journey which is so motivating it should be in a self help category for the hope it inspires. If any reader likes the style of Robin Sharma then you will definitely like this one too. I was astonished by the accomplishments of each and everyone in the stories let alone begin to comprehend the diversity in the people who were chosen to be part of this beautiful book. One of the best reads (nonfiction) I enjoyed and actually couldn’t stop reading once I started. The name itself is so apt because of what it signifies. A vine is something that’s so interconnected to its support without which it cannot grow strong and healthy. Similarly the hope here is the support system and to think everyone in this story is interdependent on each other’s hope and that’s what makes it so much better as it reinforces the concept that we are all connected and need each other in these tough times. Such a different approach to a concept otherwise usually not so appealing to be honest to Gen Z or millennial readers as we have forgotten long back what makes us tick and survive on this planet is that it’s our most basic emotions. I, for one, am happy to have found such a clean read after quite some time and something so engaging. The only reason I would deduct a point and rate it a 4 out of 5 is because some of stories could have been shorter and some back notes or comments from author would have been appreciated to know her thoughts on them. Overall highly recommend it. I would gladly give it 4 out of 5 to this engaging read.
