The Surreal Adventures of Anthony Zen by Cameron A. Straughan. I had the privilege of reading Cameron A. Straughan's The Surreal Adventures of Anthony Zen, and I must confess that it was an incredibly thrilling book. I found the protagonist, Anthony, to be a creative character due to his mind's inclination to wander from one thought to another, and the strange and intriguing events he encounters throughout the story were genuinely captivating. The book's plotline follows Anthony Zen as he navigates through surreal situations while trying to complete his daily activities. Along the way, he meets a cast of eccentric characters and experiences bizarre and unusual events.

In general, I believe that readers who enjoy fiction will undoubtedly enjoy this book. It is perfect for those who are not afraid to delve into the wild and extraordinary in their reading material, as it provides a unique experience that deviates from the norm. The story is packed with strange events and characters that will keep readers engaged and curious about what will happen next. Whether you are a fan of mystery or comedy, this book offers something for everyone. Its oddness and unconventional storytelling approach are refreshing and will leave readers wanting more. All in all, this book is an excellent addition to any bookshelf, and I highly recommend it to anyone searching for something extraordinary.

I rate the book 4 out of 5 stars. The writing was fantastic, with the author employing literary devices and repeated phrases in a humorous manner, keeping the book enjoyable and lighthearted. However, there were some violent scenes that seemed out of place, although they fit the book's theme.

If I had to mention some drawbacks, I would say that the violence could be toned down a little. However, the editing was otherwise excellent, and I didn't come across typos except the unique author's style.

In conclusion, I recommend The Surreal Adventures of Anthony Zen to anyone seeking a fun and unconventional read. While it may not be for everyone, those in search of something different should definitely give this book a try
