John K Danenbarger's novel, Entanglement - Quantum and Otherwise, is a remarkable piece of fiction that stands out for its inclusion of tragic occurrences that challenge the reader's comprehension of the universe. This gripping literary creation delves into the intricate connections between individuals, be they loved ones or society, and how childhood experiences and conduct can significantly shape one's life. Additionally, it emphasizes the significance of familial bonds and togetherness and how the demise of a family member can result in profound grief and devastation.

The central character of the novel, Geena Ness, is a woman in her fifties whose family secrets and past are slowly revealed throughout the story. The narrative commences with Geena's mother, Beth, meeting a gay stripper who eventually becomes an integral part of their family. Geena's father, Kevin, serves as a police officer, and she has an adopted younger brother who goes by the nickname Cricket. The book chronicles Geena's life and delves into how she reconciles with the family she abandoned. In 2004, Geena receives a letter from Joe, her mother's closest friend and neighbour, informing her of her father's death. This news devastates her, and as she delves deeper into the letter, she discovers more distressing details. The novel follows Geena's journey from the loss of her father to her eventual reunion with her family. It explores how relationships with loved ones and society can have a profound impact on an individual's life and how one's childhood and actions can shape their future.

One of the things I admire about this book is how it explores the effects of death and how each character reacts to it. The novel illustrates how losing a loved one can have a profound impact on a person's life, making it difficult to resume a normal existence. The author demonstrates precision in crafting each character's story and seamlessly weaving them together in an artistic manner. The author adeptly reveals the dark mysteries of each character and portrays how they respond to the consequences of death. The book is masterfully written, and I love how the author skillfully captures the intricacies of the characters' lives. Despite coming from different backgrounds, the diverse personalities seem genuinely connected, adding depth and richness to the story.

There is nothing that I did not enjoy about this book. The novel is captivating, full of drama and romance, and provides a fascinating account of Geena Ness and her family's history. The author expertly portrays different characters from diverse backgrounds who seem genuinely connected, and their individual stories are distinct and compelling, leaving the reader eager to discover what happens next.

I gave the book a rating of 5 out of 5 stars. The novel was meticulously crafted, with remarkable depictions of diverse characters and their lives. The author's skill in weaving together multiple storylines was impressive, and the book was a seamless read that held my attention from beginning to end. I would recommend this book to readers who enjoy tragic and suspenseful novels with intricate character development and multiple storylines. It might also appeal to those interested in family drama and the impact of past events on one's life. The book was exceptionally well-edited and error-free.
