Review of JTs World
Imagine building the biggest empire anyone has heard of and then watching it crumble right in front of your eyes before you enjoy the fruits of your labor. JT's World by E. Alan Fleischauer is an adventurous and romantic novel following the life of John Thurgood Thomas also known as JT. JT and Madeline, the daughter of his beloved girlfriend Annabelle who was murdered, have built the biggest complex ever, with room for a movie theater, a hotel, and a bar amongst other things. During their grand opening, a tragedy occurs. A woman turns up dead in the bowling alley. A few more dead bodies turn up at the complex the same day. Trouble even ends up following JT home that evening.
Madeline proposes that JT goes on a road trip to find more cattle for his ranch as a way of taking his mind off of the unfortunate events at their comolex. During the trip, JT fights crime, helps the helpless, and gives generously without expecting anything in return. He meets a few women along the way that capture his mind and seem to be messing with his feelings. Will his love for Annabelle, even though she has passed away, and his belief that she has reincarnated keep him from giving his heart to another woman or will love eventually win?
Fleischauer is a skilled author who knows how to draw the attention of readers. The prologue was genius. He kept it short and precise without giving away too many details of what the book held. It was enough to keep the reading atmosphere suspenseful. I loved how he played around with his plots. He developed them skilfully and in an entertaining manner. JT was a lovable character. He was a very wealthy man, but he did not act like he was above or better than everyone else. He was kind and generous. He gave everywhere he went and helped everywhere he could.
I liked how nothing about this whole read seemed obvious. Everytime I thought I knew how the book would play out next it turned out I was wrong. Fleischauer was smart when it came to playing around with his plots. I liked how the author brought out diversified themes like love, success, and how family is not only by blood.
There was nothing I did not like about this book. Fleischauer is a great writer and I look forward to reading more of his books. He has strong vocabulary skills. His plots were never overwhelming. His editing is flawless and exceptional. I could not find a single error during the entire read. I rate the book a perfect 5 out of 5 stars.
I recommend this book to readers who love adventure. Those who like reading about love will also not be disappointed. The book is most suitable for a mature audience. Readers of all religions can definitely read this book. It does not merely evolve around a specific religion.
