The Reel Sisters by Michelle Cummings is a book about five women that fly fishing brought together to be friends, initially four women before they rescued melody, a photographer who loves to shoot clubs and bands, who find herself naked in the river almost about to freeze to death, but she is saved by the four fishing friend, and from that moment they shared a bond that consisted of their wins and losses, and the book subsequently tells a tale about their fascinating friendship.

Amanda is a teacher who teaches at the elementary school on base. She has been stressed out since Mike, her husband was deployed to Afghanistan. Veronica is a women's coach; she started a women's coaching business but has always seen fly fishing as a part of her life. This realization convinced her to write a best-selling book about fly fishing called Reel Leadership. Rose is the one who is always giving a hand and has done all she can to bring everyone through the basics of fly fishing; she often acts like the mother of the group. Sophie grew up in Kansas; she's the only one in the group who isn't married, and Melody is a photographer who was rescued by the other four women. They build a strong friendship connection with each other.

My likes are not limited, as I found this book fascinating. The way it evolves around friendship made it a unique read for me. I must also commend the author; she did remarkable research about fly fishing before putting a word down, and most of the facts she made about fly fishing were entirely accurate.

As my likes were limitless, I only had a handful of dislikes to write about. The system in which this book was written threw me off. I didn't appreciate how this book was written in first-person narrative. This book kept getting less enjoyable as the chapters went by. I think the author couldn't maintain the rhythm with which she started.

I will rate this book 4 out of 5 stars; I could have given it a 5, but this book lacked the quality to be a five-star book, but the author's narrative, knowledge, writing skills, and brilliance were second to none. I think this book was well deserving of an above-average rating. This book was exceptionally edited, as I found no errors while reading it. I do recommend this book to anyone who loves fishing, or at least to people who love outings.
