When you share your hobbies with your friends, it becomes a lifestyle to which you get addicted. The Reel Sisters by Michelle Cummings is a book that centers on a group of friends united by their shared love of fly fishing. Sophie is a Kansas girl who loves farming. She watches a movie and is fascinated by fly fishing. Sophie takes lessons and ends up loving fly fishing. Along the way, she makes friends who become sisters.

Rose, Sophia, Veronica, and Amanda all get together at Rose's cabin. They intend to fly fish all weekend, but their plans are thwarted when a woman is swept downstream. They rescue her and find out her name is Melody. She bonds very well with the group, and they welcome her as one of them. They teach Melody all they can about fly fishing, and she develops her own love for the sport. Does she really become a member of the group? Grab a copy to find out.

I really enjoyed how supportive the women were of each other. The relationship they had with themselves wasn't toxic and was very beneficial to everyone in the group. We get to see each woman face her own set of challenges in life, as well as how she faces those challenges. The group has a positive impact on the lives of all members. I also learned about fly fishing, its techniques, the skills required, and the process in general.

The description was very clear, and I could feel the emotions the women felt while fishing. I like that the book was written from different perspectives. This made each character relatable. My favorite character is Sophie. She is a farm girl who fell in love with fly fishing. Her experiences about love were heartfelt and made me emotional. She is a strong, determined, and goal-driven woman. She knows what she wants and does her possible best to attain it.

I found no negative aspects in the book. I really enjoyed it. It touches on the value of friendship. Loyalty and trust are essential in order for a group like this to be successful. Good friends are hard to come by, and we should do our best to keep the good ones we have in our lives. I happily give this book a rating of 5 out of 5 stars. I found no errors in the book, indicating it was exceptionally well edited. I recommend it to those who have an interest in fishing.

Although I love fishing, I have never tried fly fishing. I can't wait to read this book. I would like to fly fish someday.
