The novel “ Pandemic How Deadly Can it Get?” is a story about the resilience of the American people in the face of the coronavirus pandemic. Written by the author, Dieter Gartelmann, this novel follows the lives of several individuals as they battle the virus and the devastating effects it has had on the lives of the citizens of the United States of America.

The novel begins with the story of a young man, Argus E also called Eashan Acharya, who is tasked by his country's authorities to monitor the progress of the pandemic and advise his government accordingly to ensure safety from the virus. As the novel progresses, we are introduced to a variety of characters, each with their own unique role as the story unravels. We meet a career journalist who is a major influencer of public opinion through the information media platform. The tale spans the reign of two presidents representing opposing political dispensations and priorities manifesting a resultant clash in governing policy. Through these characters, we get a glimpse into the lives of those affected by the virus and the struggles they face.

The novel is an emotional journey that captures the courage and determination of the American people in the face of a global pandemic. Gartelmann does an excellent job of weaving together the stories of these characters and their struggles, creating a powerful and moving narrative. He also does a great job of highlighting the importance of community and the power of collective action in the fight against the virus.

The story has a heavy leaning towards relating the political intrigues that played out at the time, and the fight against the virus from the politicians, and the political class. Little is told of the clinical fight by the medical fraternity.

Overall, “The Fight Against COVID in the USA” is a captivating and uplifting story about the resilience of the American people in the face of a global pandemic. It is a must-read for anyone looking to gain insight into the struggles of those affected by the virus and the power of collective action in the fight against it.

I would give a rating of 3 out of 5 to this book. The editing is wanting, containing numerous grammatical errors.

I would recommend it to an adult audience as racial profiling, profanity and vulgarity is encountered.
