Review of JTs World
Set in the Wild West, JTs World goes all out with crime fighting and gun-wielding cowboys. Filled with murder mysteries and adventures, E. Alan Fleischauer has written an excellent thriller.
The book starts with John Thurgood Thomas, also known as JT to his friends. He is an adventure junkie, but the death of his beloved wife, Annabelle, leaves him a shell of the man he once was. And then the murders start; one by one, the killer is bloodthirsty to destroy JT’s empire. The grand opening of JT’s prized building gets marred with bloodshed, leaving JT depressed and lost. Will the killer get away with the murders? Will JT find out who it is? How will JT ever get over the traumatic events of his life? Read the book to find out.
I love the dynamic setting of the story. The Wild West comes alive with E. Alan Fleischauer’s writing, which is absolutely riveting. The book has descriptive elements that help you imagine the background of the story as you read it. The author expertly paints the picture and brings the characters to life with his writing. My favorite character was JT; he is a mature man and has so much love for his people. The character is full of compassion and humanity. You can see that JT’s every action is dedicated to helping others. JT’s story has action, romance, and humor, which was a pleasure to read.
However, I disliked the amount of violence in this book. All the gore and murder made me queasy. I did not like reading about the killings, but they weren’t included just for the sake of it. The plot required bloodshed, and the author wrote it tastefully. Each character had some sort of gun action going on, which seemed like a bit too much. Nonetheless, they weren’t enough for me to deduct a star.
I rate JTs World by E. Alan Fleischauer 4 out of 4 stars. I rate it full stars because I loved reading it and it has zero errors of any kind. To me, the book appears to have been professionally edited.
Readers who like to read books set in the mid-west filled with guns, glory, and cowboys will love reading this book. The dynamic background of traveling around the West mixed with ranch house living is a delight to read, so people who are interested in reading about new cultural backgrounds will also love this book. I highly recommend JTs World to everybody who enjoys action, mystery thrillers, and romance. It is full of gun culture and murder sprees, so it is inappropriate for impressionable minds and for people who dislike bloodshed and gore.
