Review of JTs World
JT's World by E. Alan Fleischauer is one of the five books in the Western series featuring John Thurgood Thomas, centered on suspenseful romance and brutal murder involving wanted-armed goons. The book begins with a murder incident while Mika Shipley was performing her song at Billy's Tavern, a complex that John Thurgood Thomas built for her daughter, Madeline, as her theater to perform her songs right after school. Marcus Payne, an experienced killer, traveled to Stevens Pass intending to kill J.T. Thomas and Madeline. On their way to Chin Lee, Arizona, J.T. Thomas and his ranch manager Buck rescued Maria Woodworth, a lady on the run from Utah and now the new preacher to be in Chin Lee. J.T. Thomas received death threats one after another from men wanted for murder, rape, and robbery: Spike, Mr. Breeze, Gunner Wilder, June, and James. Later, J.T. Thomas meets a doctor, Jessica Woodworth, with whom they have a love affair, and offers her a chance to serve as a doctor at his Ponderosa ranch outside Scottsdale, Arizona.
It is a fantastic book to read. The author has been pretty descriptive of his characters. For instance, he describes Doctor Jessica as having green eyes, being tall, slim, calm, and having a muscular body. Again, the author is an experienced narrator, coupling several narrations simultaneously. The author also incorporates comedy where identical twin brothers, June and James, plot a trick after committing a murder and bank robbery. At a court proceeding, the twins shift the blame to each other, making it hard for judges to recognize who committed the crime. Moreover, the author has used a lot of suspense around romantic events around Jessica with J.T. Thomas and Aamon Zamora. Furthermore, the author points out a reflection of the impending dangers of having many people in the west carrying guns. Finally, the plots and subplots are well-schemed and align with the title, JT's World.
The incident of Victor, a talented and gifted preacher, impregnating a teen girl undermines the reputation of members of the clergy. Again, the action of a judge who convicted Marcus Payne, an experienced murderer, accepting a bribe to set him free is disgusting, considering the dangers he poses to innocent people.
I rate this book four out of four stars. The author does not burden the reader with building stories. Additionally, the book is edited exceptionally.
I recommend this book to any reader yearning for romantic and murder-action narrations. The author has passionately narrated plots rich in such episodes.
